Our first Student Spotlight features Estelle Esthetics student Bridget F. Bridget started her program in September of 2019.
Q: Why did you choose to enter the skin care profession?
A: I feel like this industry has been on the rise for some time now and offers a multitude of opportunities and growth. I also feel like that skincare is something that anyone can enjoy, at any age. And of course, I’ve always loved taking care of my own skin.
Q: Why did you choose Estelle?
A: Two big deciding factors where how comprehensive the curriculum is and that Estelle offers federal financial aid to those that qualify. But most importantly, it was the flexible schedules. I’m a working mom and Estelle is able to provide a schedule that accommodates my busy lifestyle.
Q: What do you enjoy most about being a student here?
A: I’ve made a lot of friends, and I feel like I’ve made some great connections with educators and guest speakers. The education has been very thorough and I feel like I’m getting a lot of attention. I feel ready… and I still have a few months before graduation.
Q: What is your favorite treatment to perform?
A: Anything anti-aging, because you can see the short-term benefits.
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: My ultimate goal is to open up my own business. I have a background in makeup, so I want to combine that with eyelash extensions and a few facial services.
