Estelle Esthetics student Lauren. started her program in February of 2020.
Q: Why did you choose to enter the skin care profession?
A: I just got my license in nail technology and this is the next logical step for me. I’ve always loved art and makeup, and plan to follow both passions into my professional life. Plus, I want to make women feel beautiful.
Q: Why did you choose Estelle?
A: I went through Estelle’s nail program first. I initially learned about Estelle from my mom’s nail technician, who had heard great things about the nail program in particular. Once I started with Nail Technology, I knew I was going to continue on with their skincare program.
Q: What do you enjoy most about being a student here?
A: I’ve had some minor health issues lately, so naturally I’ve become more conscious of my body and problems I’ve been facing. As a result, I would say that I’ve really enjoyed our Theory classes…. more specifically the anatomy and ingredient knowledge we’ve covered so far. The hands-on training is great, but I’m very surprised with how much I’m learning in Theory.
Q: What is your favorite treatment to perform?
A: I love the waxing and threading and can’t wait for the next time we get to practice! I’m also really looking forward to makeup application.
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: I’m planning to move out of state soon after graduation – Mississippi. Once I’m settled I will start working toward opening my own spa.
