Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute is committed to making its website, www.estelle.edu, accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to meet our obligations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Measures we take
- Reviewing site pages and documents against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria, including color contrast, keyboard navigation, text alternatives for images, descriptive link text, and properly structured headings and forms.
- Providing text equivalents for non-text content and captions or transcripts for video content as it is added.
- Publishing consumer disclosures and policies in accessible PDF format and, on request, in alternative formats.
- Testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen reader software, and addressing issues found as part of ongoing site maintenance.
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents and third-party content (such as embedded maps, videos, and forms) may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are working to remediate or replace these items. If you encounter content you cannot access, please contact us and we will provide the information in an alternative format.
