Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the difference between grants and loans?
– Loans are funds that are lent to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens by the United States Government. Loans are borrowed funds which must be paid back.
– Grants are funds given to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens, based on need, and do not need to be paid back (provided you complete the program).
I’m not sure how to fill out the FAFSA, can you help?
Yes, we are happy to help you complete your FAFSA and answer any questions you may have. Please contact us at (847) 329-9174 for assistance.
What other payment options do you have?
In addition to Federal Financial Aid (available to those who qualify), we offer in-house payment plans. Tuition payments can be made in full or divided into monthly payments due over the course of your program. Scholarship opportunities may be available to individuals paying out-of-pocket. All outstanding balances must be paid in full in order to complete your program.
Does completing the FAFSA require me to enroll with your school?
No, completing the FAFSA is for your benefit and will show you how much Federal Financial Aid you may qualify for. You’re under no obligation to use the financial aid at that point or to enroll in our program.
Can I get Federal Financial Aid at a non-accredited school?
No, Federal Financial Aid for beauty schools is available only to accredited institutions. Students who attend a non-accredited school will typically pay out-of-pocket. Estelle Skin Care and Spa Institute is nationally accredited by NACCAS.
