Estelle Esthetics student Jessica G. started her program in September of 2019.
Q: Why did you choose to enter the skin care profession?
A: Skincare has always fascinated me. I’m learning so much about all the external and internal factors that play a role in the conditioning of our skin and overall wellness. This has always been a passion of mine and I’m excited about where this industry is heading.
Q: Why did you choose Estelle?
A: I did my research! I visited 2 other schools and reached out to several others by phone. I felt very welcomed at my initial visit and was impressed by the curriculum. The choice was a no-brainer for me.
Q: What do you enjoy most about being a student here?
A: I love it all. I enjoy coming to class and learning, each day becoming more knowledgeable and confident in my abilities. I’m also a people person, so I enjoy getting to know my classmates; we’re a melting pot of different personalities, backgrounds, skin types and conditions.
Q: What is your favorite treatment to perform?
A: Microdermabrasion. I like the technique and the results it provides. We just practiced with the Ultrasound machine for the first time last week and that was really cool too.
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: I’m hoping to land in a nice spa and work on building up my clientele. Further down the road I’d like to open my own business.
